A Typical Morning at Rainbow:

 

8:00 – 9:30

Free Play – Children are given the opportunity to choose where they would like to play. A variety of activity centres, including visual arts and gross motor play, will be made available.

 

9:30 – 9:40

Tidy up and separate into age specific groups.

 

9:40 – 9:55

2 Year Old Circle Time – Children will learn a variety of songs and finger plays in both English and French.

 

9:40 – 10:00

3 – 4 Year Old and 4 – 5 Year Old French Circle Time – An introduction to daily and weekly themes through listening games, visual aids, storytelling, dramatic movement and finger plays.

 

9:55 -10:30

Bathroom and Snack Time

 

10:30 – 11:25

2- 5 Year Old Activity Time - children will be divided into age appropriate groups to participate in an range of activities such as: Music and Movement, Drama and Dress Up, Gross Motor Play, Outdoor Play, Cooking, Water Play and Visual Arts.

 

11:20 – 11:30

2 Year Old prepare for departure.

 

11:25 – 11:45

3- 4 Year Old English Circle Time and departure.

 

11: 20 – 11:40

4-5 Year Old Pre Math/Worksheets - Children further develop their pre writing skills and comprehension of pre math concepts including: geometry, measurement, patterns and reasoning.

 

11: 40 – 12:00

4- 5 Year Old English Circle time and departure.
